September Unit 1: Number Sense and Numeration (up to 100)
Learning Goals:
We will learn how to read, represent, rename, compare and order whole numbers up to 100.
Success Criteria:
I will be successful when I can:
□ group numbers tens for convenience and easy understanding
□ represent numbers in many different forms (numeral, expanded form. word, base ten)
□ rename numbers (e.g. 23 is 2 tens and 3 ones, or 23 ones)
□ understand that place value uses a symbol of 0 as a place holder
(I know the difference between 30 and 3)
□ round 2 digit numbers to the nearest 10
□ compare numbers when they are written in many forms
