News from Room 202!
Welcome to Grade 3!
Dear Families,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome your child to my class. We can all look forward to an exciting and rewarding year in Grade 3!
Over the next few weeks the students and I will be working hard to establish routines and build a sense of community. I believe it is important to create an engaging program that meets the individual needs of all students. Communication between school and home also helps students achieve their potential.
I am in the process of updating my classroom webpage that you can access from the school website under the ‘classes’ section. On the website you will find important updates about our classroom events and learning. Please complete the attached: "Informed Consent Use of Third Party and/or Website pate."
We have already started using Agendas. Your child will be expected to have their Agenda at school every day and take it home every night for you to check messages from us. Please write in the Agenda to communicate any messages from home.
Our Physical Education days have been tentatively scheduled for Day 1 and Day 5. Please make sure your child has a pair of running shoes to wear on gym days.
Please ensure that your child has an extra pair of shoes to leave at school. Running shoes are a good choice so they will be available for gym.
I look forward to a wonderful year teaching your child.
Yours truly,
Mrs. K. Dekker
